<div style="text-align: justify;">
We all have that one beauty obsession we can absolutely never get enough of. For myself, the current madness revolves around all and any lipsticks out there, especially them brilliant inventions that are liquid mattes. Together with Emily, from <a href="http://emilysthoughts.wix.com/emily">Emily's Thoughts </a>we picked up two of the most recent releases of matte lipsticks from two different brands and decided to share our love/hate for them with you. </div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj8-WKTnViQ3NrnhxrVTIPg76izIPOM5yGYCfn0O25ovBj2nJxZho6xpQ5rCrDmnxN2rGDFqrkPfyWjNvSsowZ_tMlIW7K_yVqVE6T23g3lTJKNkJJnLG2kPlKYx98cBg0gBTtNLlwXrRI/s1600/zd1.jpg" /></div>
<br />
<a name='more'></a><span style="text-align: justify;">I have loved </span><i style="text-align: justify;">Revlon</i><span style="text-align: justify;"> lipsticks for a good while now. When they released their </span><a href="http://www.boots.ie/en/Revlon-Ultra-HD-Matte-Lip-Color_1823473/" style="text-align: justify;"><i>Ultra HD Matte Lipcolor</i> </a>range <span style="text-align: justify;">it was obvious I went a bit more than just crazy about getting my hands on it. FAST! </span><br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
For 12.49 euro I purchased mine in the shade <i>Seduction</i> that is this gorgeous beige with a hint of natural pink undertone, a colour that's currently rocking the amazing street style. From the first application I got complimented on how lovely it looks and myself fell in love with my sense of choice, because truth is, this shade suits all outfits and all the seasons. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj6SgTlBqx_gbgOQFYZ_Lj86oOgjbx7SjF1WDbhOzFEMGM08NRqd5mziDedCgJuz44AeX4L9m7_hKVIoEoWZquWDyAzUzg_JW-yPFQ5hI81zTKi7OF9lzF3bnTx30KSTbAOMa4tC6X28gs/s1600/IMG_1647.JPG" /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The beautiful, matte packaging and delicious cocoa scent rip my heart out (positively of course) and the applicator couldn't but make the application process more easy and precise.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEggHcuP_aOXgB1F5RCZ_G-jHdRzmNnJ_cTQxHUj_MftAV-qYZ3xH1MH4qcEKLZMC6xHsAmmrueI5NFzXC6oD5vgAHNJ_RJYbwCj40TRC4s35l-zjV_JOqhRAOMdfXM2clgedFH5VmoBWkE/s1600/zd3.jpg" /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Nevertheless, besides all the breathtaking first impressions also comes a matter of its actual quality and under this aspect unfortunately, my hopes collapsed a bit. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
For such an expensive retail price, that I do consider it is, I won't deny I expected something slightly bit better. Never mind all the ravings and praises the world of social media brought out about these like a storm. Are you also one of those who fell absolutely head over heels for them?</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I'm going to be straight forward and honest, in my opinion the lipstick should not classify as one. It is simply a more richly pigmented lip gloss that has an extremely hard time drying and turning genuinely matte! In comparison to other liquid lipsticks I've tested (many of which come from much cheaper brands!) this one does not reach the expectation of blending in with the lips and becoming unnoticeable throughout the day. It remains sticky, wipes off easily and most ridiculously of all, shines! I have to give it a decent hour without snacking (or kissing ;)) to be able to call this a matte lipstick. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Now, it's not a complete nightmare altogether either. Its quality is good, just not fit for what it is described and if it was an actual lip gloss then damn it would be one of the best out there! One pro is that despite it being ''matte'', the lips don't dry out as bad as they would with other products of similar type so it is definitely something to consider. Or have you tried it already?</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjX5oLVcefFcL0JCZwr6L_JgqIQAFU8kfg9GSlVLlyEd4m4PRHh3LjhCkXvqTUWWWLn_WolSWhEwmUpIouZMZpWSXnrM8wdQC_3SUaR_s5oZDW1WDG8rFEdvcMjrqcp5GLo6hvO5tWVQjs/s1600/zd2.jpg" /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
To rate this out of 10 I would probably give it a well deserved 5.5 and if the brilliant company that <i>Revlon</i> is decided to drop the price by at least 4 quid I would probably increase this score by an extra 1.5. What do you say?</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Luckily, Emily had bit more luck with the matte lipstick from <i>NYX</i>, so make sure to check out <a href="http://emilysthoughts.wix.com/emily#!Mad-for-mattes-by-NYX-n-Revlon/c21kp/57567b3d0cf23167914bd8cb">her review</a> of that too ^_^</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Until next time,</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: center;">
<img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh2liDl6JmidPu3AMNHVbPzbEE9_DBysTC5VOQ7wP2NDCX5uAMHImbb8V1r8N3_G49M6x11KzzHSVC29-S1WT7eDs8NJNscv9RAQirDsRExjVXORfeq9sxQsnAW0gZ4Vp_Ghw37Anf_g2Q/s1600/Hobby.jpg" /></div>
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I never pictured myself dreaming to pursue a career in arts, never mind the literacy world. I hated books ever since I was born, today remembering my eight year old self getting hysterical over the fact my mom forced me to read. And then came a day when reading became cool. Since all my friends were devoted bookworms it was only right for me to become one too. Despite hating to spend free time stumbling upon words I didn't understand, the satisfaction that came with my parents' pride and bragging rights was very tempting and so I pushed through the pain. I kept a list of all the books I read (which I'm continuing up until this day!) and generally focused more on the amount than actual reading. It wasn't something I enjoyed, until the ever so brilliant J.K Rowling rolled along.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Yes, it was no other than <i>Harry Potter </i>that turned my fake identity into a true book loving spirit. I might have been eleven at that time and the fashion for vampires was also at its finest. I realized the reason behind my prejudice was simply because I was reading the wrong genres. I never liked child told stories about little witches, nasty aunts and flying beds (some of my early lectures). It was always the teen stuff. Adventure, love and blood. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Ever since, books have played an important part in my life and I do believe some of them even shaped me to be who I am. And since they also happen to be the only true passion I have, it is obvious it would mean the world to me to pursue some sort of career in that aspect.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Despite loving literature, I never considered myself a good writer. I hated English and still do for the way they teach it. When I made the big transition from primary to secondary school, one of the questions on a personal quiz asked, ''Who do you want to be when you grow up.'' Absolutely mad about acting at that time, I considered this too quixotic to put down on a student profile. The first alternative that came to my mind was what my mom always repeated and encouraged; a Writer. It was practical seeing the next question regarded my life hero and Anne Frank is someone I've always admired. Too little did I know this tiny white lie will transform into a dead on real ambition.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
My stories were kind of praised by the teachers and they seemed to discover me before I even got the chance to. And so the goal was set and for the past two years it has been absolutely clear what I want from life. But is it?</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I finished school three days ago. One more year to go and the serious decision will have to be made. What's next? Editing is what I dream of but it's easier said than done. My parents aren't exactly supportive either, both arguing that I should follow my dreams but on the other hand do something that will guarantee a job! Being indecisive is apparently common at this age but I feel like I'm being placed at the edge of a cliff and none of the options secure a safe way out. I'm learning to take risks but not at such fast pace as I wish I did. I'm afraid of failure and want to decide according to what's best for me and my future, but how do I do this?</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I kept telling myself not to stress out and that when time comes I'll know what to do. Books can be written as a hobby. I have an entire life of travel and adventures ahead of me. Yet this does not change the fact that I do worry. Every single day, the future seems to be my biggest anxiety and sometimes I struggle to handle it. I am aware this is normal but then why does it not feel like it is?</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I look forward to the day I'll be able to remember my sixteen year old self, wishing to turn back time and tell her not to panic so much about life. But today, this is no comfort. Although ridiculous and maybe slightly selfish, sometimes I wish to wake up five years forward with a life already set out as if on a silver platter. </div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: center;">
<img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi26A7SNx59m0ZF4WT11VnXSe6lPGgsVDntBtubVw47a5EQ7LvEYKXB9ir3XCQ13A0699RX9LySI9QNar0ZUSf2REBDl1mF0XhoVqj7h0bi6-3jhPI9huJeATE_wLB03sKXA6mXx7D4HS8/s1600/IMG_1533.jpg" /></div>
<br />
<br />
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
I can already visualize them; wild, unkempt, natural eyebrows and a concealer-free complexion worth ten million. Sun kissed cheeks, long lashes and a bit of balm for a shine. Glowing skin in the heart of a perfect summer, both day and night... mmm how we'd all love that! But before any of them dreams can be achieved, there is prep work to be done and this starts right now. My beauty routine is simple, I hold no secrets as to how I keep them pesky spots away (or at least try to I meant to say). This is my St. Very Holy Beauty Regime I sometimes swear that tiny bit too much by and am super excited to share it with you and even more to hear about your tips and tricks for a clear skin you've got to share <3<br />
<a name='more'></a><br />
<br />
<b><span style="color: #444444;">Everyday</span></b><b><span style="color: #444444;">:</span></b></div>
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<div style="text-align: start;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Essentially, it all comes down to the diet. Never is a thousand years will I admit chemistry can offer more to my skin than a proper nutrition. It has become more obvious to me over the past seven months of a much healthier lifestyle what an impact it really does. I am not talking food restrictions and hardcore workout but simply a diet enriched in fruit, veg and water. Summer is no longer the time for your regular deep fried chicken goujons with rich garlic sauce (yuck), it is the season for all things light, fresh and fruity!</div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: start;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
My favorite to snack on include watermelon, oranges, cucumber and tomato, that always keep me hydrated and supply with the ''better'' sugars. I also love carrots and peppers for their carotene and that gorgeous tan that comes with it! Just snip a bit to your wrap or dinner or kick off that salad season and you're good to go!<br />
And obviously, water, water, water! Nothing does as much wonder as liquids. Remember, with addition of natural flavoring such as lemon, mint or lime, water will absorb better. To keep on track I find the water apps and cute gym flasks very motivating.<br />
<br /></div>
</div>
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjvOSxVqmrc0LXxnlX3C7h2VBlPnvwUE5e_606pSyN-yPKMZimwbnKgJdaWWURV7OlAj8jo7Vl_UlDZPoY5FHVE7qhSqi0Db574SDqhLPtZsO3c35VU6QdGU88-x6mdfjJI6lxdyUi6kfM/s1600/IMG_1565.JPG" /></div>

<span style="color: #444444;"><br /></span>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="color: #444444;">Onto the actual science itself, let's begin with my evening skincare routine. My skin is a perfect example of combination, meaning I can't scrub them oils off too much nor moisturize excessively. I like to therefore keep a balance between products aimed specifically at skin prone to imperfections and deeply hydrating.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I start off with removing the minimalist amounts of makeup straight after I get home and always before heading for a run. Sweat combined with beauty products clogs pores and results in unavoidable breakouts. I use the always beloved <i>Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water</i>, just because it has been faithful and gentle to me for so long now and is super affordable too. </div>
<br />
<img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj_Lcf2RMKfVYAZZQjn-l9oE-iYZ9D26dhwWFnNkt1F5_UNCPMoumBlIgEtvxyiuhrIKwQcw2Cb0JyXanlPH1jfnoi9cS0m6V0_zmTBDQtwrGObHcbN3clA6mR4TKqFqVKtNUBaNu5KUbE/s1600/IMG_1541.JPG" style="text-align: center;" /><br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Moving on to cleansing, I am so so so in love with the <i>Garnier Pure Active Cream Wash</i>. I never used to be a fan of <i>Garnier</i> face cleansers simply because I found them too harsh on my skin. Ever since it transformed from sensitive to extremely oily, I fell in love with their stuff. This particular one seems to be fitting my skin type so darn well I will certainly be repurchasing it. It is refreshing, effective and gentle at once. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh1uYRwZDooMvp5hQKPj1PUExz0rZk55A_YRLte2oHwMwrVXq_e8ZGaN3n-haYxhl235wtabXOFpufixXTzjh8fYUMBo29Bzc3qcCNUlCNYXcTyn7tvYMlqMCTohHSKJnCHLwLvvrnL5ns/s1600/IMG_1540.JPG" /><br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Once thoroughly washed I smooth, hydrate and perfectionate with the <i>Hey Honey Facial Serum</i>. I was somehow opposed of trying it at first as I associate serums with more of a mature skin appropriate, but after reading deeper into it and testing it out for myself I realized how much I love the stuff. Its lightness really prevents the unwanted breakouts yet moisturizes so well. Plus this one smells incredibly gorgeous! </div>
<br />
<img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgoEimvUvM2RXIJ-ayDo1DI3HCCU7JTx4uYTlt-u9InkNwWiJn1W3A3s1KOrswbm733yi94IHHSfKUC4tJ-TP4333b5C9F1HljlpHnMxsLPcT2Y5QTc2v4c2lETHc3maPM7tuRaIxkFzPY/s1600/IMG_1451.JPG" /><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEixrabqVpSOwZ-OERnCX_TKzRWdmauwiragyHCtiDVHqAHjBcCDorfbI5rU5jDeuzhZPHS6drVYg_h2AlGSy09UkMqGhRMaGsQfgruf6rinAFtPFl9w5rKFdCF2DmorYQEE06lk4tR86Ws/s1600/IMG_1450.JPG" style="text-align: center;" /><br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
My morning routine is pretty much identical yet I switch the serum for a thicker day cream with SPF for that extra protection. I really enjoy using <i>Nivea Daily Essentials</i> just because I did try the more fancy hydrating creams previously and none of them really satisfied me as much as I thought they would. <i>Nivea</i> has always been my go to and always does a fine job.</div>

<span style="color: #444444;"><b><br /></b></span>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="color: #444444;"><b>Twice A Week:</b></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
A little scrub goes a long way and I have already praised my favorite <i>No7 Exfoliate</i> in a previous post you may read <a href="https://missglamoroussweatpants.blogspot.ie/2015/05/may-fave-product-of-month.html">here</a>. Honestly, I don't know how many times I've repurchased this. It truly is a great quality product which I love! </div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="color: #444444;"><b>Once A Week: </b></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
A current facebook trend got me intrigued, and so I gave the gelatin nose peel a try. For half a teaspoon of gelatin mix in half a teaspoon milk and a single drop of water. Stir to the type of consistency below and microwave for approximately 15 seconds. Since slightly unpleasant smell-wise apply onto a clear, steamed nose trying not to scrunch in disgust, with an old makeup brush. Leave on for 20-30 minutes, then peel off to remove the ever so hated black heads and remain with perfectly smooth nose. Simple as. I've got to say I absolutely love giving myself such a peel once a week. Whereas the results are minimal and I suppose it would be necessary to repeat the process on more regular basis, I won't deny it its cheeky fun!</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Last in my regime comes a small trick I was curious of trying and ended up loving. Personally I drink a lot of green tea which is a brilliant antioxidant. So I thought, if within, why not outside? Now whenever I'm drinking a cup I like to soak a fresh cotton pad and use as a toner on a clean face once chilled. Although slightly drying I find it works wonders on the forehead where all the imperfections show.</div>

I can't believe I have only two weeks left until summer. Now is such a busy period with exams, work experience and all other business I love to indulge myself into the skincare side of story. Can't wait to rock it makeup-less this year, never mind the skin's performance. So far so good with the regime anyway and a little bit of sun will complete its desires. How are you preparing for the upcoming months? </div>

<span style="text-align: justify;">Subtle, simple and gold. Three words to describe my accessory style as perfectly as the clarity of a teardrop. When it comes to jewelry I do not like to come in with a bang. Everything that emphasizes an outfit but doesn't own it is worth my attention. There is only so many fashion wishlists one can create without a natural desire to finish off the look with some high street bling bling. I certainly do have some pieces currently on my eyes.</span><br />

<br />
<b>26th March 2016</b><br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Think about the last time you felt like a complete idiot, wishing to never been born. Now combine this with a situation you were so embarrassed you wanted to be swallowed by the deepest, darkest depths of earth. Add a moment when something of nonsense meaning that you cherished badly faced unquestionable death and you're one hundredth step closer to feeling the way I am.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
If you believe that giving a wrong answer in a classroom, your stomach rumbling during a very silent moment or saying something you shouldn't have is awkward, I've got some bad news for you.<br />
<a name='more'></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
What would say about... let me think... falling into a tank of water.... in a completely public place.... indoors?!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
No, unfortunately this is not one of those clever metaphors, conveying something of another, deeper meaning. I'm utterly straight forward and you either believe me or you don't. Just a little notice you might like to register; never, ever, in a dark room of an exhibition centre, misinterpret a decorative, fountain styled pool with a couch. Indeed, the low wall surrounding its circumference is to be sat at if you prefer that from totally comfortable pillows just an inch away, but not so much the inside. Maybe just case avoid any low seated areas and anywhere public you want to set your butt in general. This might as well save you some stress... and money!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Yes, I took a bath in a water tank today, soaking my entire dignity before even getting a taster of the big bad world. Speaking of humiliation....</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Oh, and all that ''shit I gotta save'' obsession I've got going on right now? Yeah, my phone was kind of in the pocket of my sweater. Well, until it fell out, sinking to the bottom and appearing a bigger catastrophe than <i>Titanic</i> in my eyes. No much worries, it does work as long as you consider out of memory, freezing every five minutes, flashing uncontrollably every once in a while a decency. It'll do until I get new one, but how does a sixteen year old with no job and tones of debts to my parents achieve that? I've got twenty euro in my pocket and a lot of expenses coming up. God, if these are problems I never want to move out. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
In terms of embarrassment and over-attention from the crowd, luckily for me there weren't that much people present. Those who were had their backs turned engaging in a presentation streaming from the cursed projectors. But my thoroughly soaked pants probably did raise some questions and trust me, it was neither fun to be amongst all these strangers nor having to walk like a penguin. Only reassurance is that this was technically a holiday, out off my normal place of residence and never again will I face these people again. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Up until now I still don't know if I want to laugh or cry thinking about how humiliated, pathetic, clumsy and embarrassed I felt. By far it was one of those experience I wouldn't forget after brain damage and permanent amnesia but until it's old and rusty in my memory I won't remember it well. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I do laugh about it already, I suppose. I share the story with my friends and observe how shocked they seem with what happened and completely not surprised it was me who managed to secure such a life story. Let's be honest, it's kind of hilarious if you visualize it well. I just can't wait for the day my dad and step mom will be laughing in my face about this (all over again). Isn't life lovely?</div>

<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Hello peeps,</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
It is that time of the month again, hurrah! Without further rambling I'll jump straight into this month's favorites you might like to know of and as always, let me know your thoughts in the comments :)<br />
<a name='more'></a></div>
<b style="text-align: justify;"><br /></b>
<b style="text-align: justify;">1) Selection by Kiera Cass</b><br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
This book has been haunting me ever since it came out. Any bookshop, library, online store, charity event, book blog etc etc. this would ALWAYS catch my attention in one way or another (huge benefit to the cover!) And since I had my eyes on it for way too long, I decided to finally get it.One day I was dying for a new read and been searching for something totally different, when time pressure put me in a situation I had no idea what to get. Then I thought,<i> right, that book with the princess on the cover</i>. Not knowing what it was about, not knowing the author and basically being completely benighted in the topic, I searched it out and purchased. Oh boy what an amazing decision that was. In a nut shell, future-set, slightly dystopian story about a girl who lands herself in a reality show to compete for the prince and the crown. Fairy tale of 22nd century. Without shadow of a doubt I confess this is getting its ranks extremely high, almost equalizing with my obsession for <i>Harry Potter</i>. I couldn't get my eyes off it. Before school, at school, during class, on the bus, during meal times, after meal times, instead of homework, before bed and so on so forth. My biology grades will cry a river this May....</div>
<br />
<b>2) Beauty Blender </b><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<img border="0" height="394" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgDKggBFJ89wSmFJZVywIayNzbLuEgZSdVP9yPPl3wqLLt5mfCl21burYKBeNGwUzsxBC2hPRZWDSwo86cpncVRU_b4X2nkl8aEsS55bPbMl7CdJoHKj5QesdWHYrcOtoJMpF5-FUAXm8U/s640/IMG_1421.JPG" width="640" /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b><br /></b></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Would you believe I only got my first one of these mid-March of this year?! I know, what a shocker. Truth is, I don't use foundation and when I do, my <i>Real Techniques</i> brush serves just fine. This stuff though? I think is more of an necessity than a want to any beauty loving girl out there. After a whole year of listening to the praise I've been hearing about it, I thought why not give it a go? Now it just makes my routine so much easier. Blends everything from cream and concealer to blush and bronzer. But sure we all know how amazing it is!</div>
<br />
<b>3) Neutrogena Intense Repair Balm</b><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<img border="0" height="384" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiBmM5VPFiH1mg6TGGCAJejl1Dtbpcp5p8LYIepLMOqWeJYf6Iy56K59-YGCCLwoUTAhMDPYyzmnRSQPD2HwgLvlrcCt7D9AOmFLBUxc8v2JfDv-3PqYtGvuhCWddPLiDUbBKpAts128iE/s640/IMG_1427.JPG" width="640" /></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="text-align: justify;">Lip balms are the easy things to switch between and experiment with. That's why I opt for a different one with each purchase. I always loved </span><i style="text-align: justify;">Neutrogena, </i><span style="text-align: justify;">especially the quality of their body lotions and was pleasantly surprised they did an equally good job with the lip stuff. The tube packed, squeeze-out containers may not be my most beloved type of packaging, but the results you get are worth the suffering. The texture is non-sticky, anti-shine and zero white residue clumping on the inside of the lips. It hydrates extremely well and prevents dryness up to even five hours, in my case anyway. </span></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">

I don't usually trust sales assistants' opinions, no matter how fancy the store or brand. When it comes to spending bigger money on things like beauty I usually figure out what I want via bloggers and friends and then just go off and buy them. However getting a blending brush arose in my head on a spur of a moment so requesting some help seemed appropriate. I was recommended this precious darling. As a smokey-anything amateur my needs were basic; something that'll get the job done without much of personal effort. Bit discouraged by the price label I wasn't certain in the beginning but today I wouldn't think twice. <span style="text-align: left;">The brush does anything from blending eye shadow to applying highlighter on the cheekbones. Its thick, synthetic bristles make the process so much faster and even I manage to tame the darker shades as I apply them on the eye. Absolute magic. </span></div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<img border="0" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEimK6KWKtdf0nHA747cinlGgruzWbV3InAsng_2_1kETOTfwVlGYRKpYF5-k4EIJDg6qcwyhgWcl8kC0XErE4KnGO4oR-UDP35Oaoy3xp1ugPvHU-BCkvsvIACH_DS3ACnI83XR6ZJSGnY/s640/IMG_1348.CR2" width="640" /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
A scent recognized so well it could be a celebrity itself.<br />
<br />
Me, I was first introduced to it by my mom, who more than enjoys smelling well herself, loves to purchase goodies that make me stand out as well. And so after a hard try and fail of receiving <i>Angel</i> for Christmas (my step dad concluded we've already spent too much...oops) the two of us sneaked him out whilst flying over the ocean and getting it four months later at the ever so beloved spot for beauty deals; the airport.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The thing between me and perfumes is a very complicated, love-hate complex relationship. Long story told short, I consider them an utter luxury, completely unnecessary and a zero in ten chance of buying one myself. If I fall in love with one? great, add that to my wish list, no spending strings attached. But then again, I've still a hell lot of time to consider buying perfumes a self spoiling method.<br />
<a name='more'></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I do love smelling good though and not having at least one on my closet wouldn't pass either. My type? Attractive, sweet and enigmatic (if you could even describe a scent like this).</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
First impression of Mugler's creation? Something a sophisticated teen or a modern thirty year old would love. Indulging, spicy fragrance, with a hint of sweetness. Classy, I-wear-jeans-with-heels kind a story, but unusual, almost peculiar and that's what got me fascinated. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br />
I tried out a sample first, wore it on my wrist for the day and honestly was incredibly amazed by the quality of the stuff. Especially when the scent developed and blended in, it seemed as if the two of us were meant for each other. I have found the match. From there it went really quick of lusting it even more and paying 50/50 just to get the 50ml bottle seemed like a fair deal. True, 75 euro is slightly daunting but the price we pay for high street doesn't really surprise us any more, does it?<br />
<br />
The fragrance matches summer nights or daily autumn days. It can get quite heavy with first application and so in my eyes (or shall I say nose?) it doesn't really combine well with the light, fresh spring time nor does it go along with party atmosphere either.<br />
<br />
One thing I probably dislike is the applicator. It comes without a protective lid (something a travelling girl hates) and is also quite wide and concentrated, disallowing a ''just-a-discrete-hint'' spray. However the packaging is ''oh my goodness'' and you can picture that weird eye thing people do as they stare into the ceiling, heads sticking forward (myself included), so I guess it balances out.<br />
<br />
Final opinion? Let's just say that anything I have that makes my own mother envious is worth the shot and I have received some pretty compliments on this too. If you have not once inhaled the essence of <i>Angel </i>you could be missing out big time. Or maybe you have already and it wasn't your match? Either way let me know down below <3<br />

Love,<br />

Hello peeps,</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I don't know how about you but us here in Ireland are getting some really good spring vibes in the air. The weather is getting nicer, the sun is getting brighter, the birds chirp louder and fashion is getting better (no more woolly coasts, woohoo!). It is March, the month of Easter break, cheeky skirts and all things green. </div>
<a name='more'></a><br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I've procrastinated this post for too long. Let's face it, I've procrastinated blogging for WAY too long. It was back in February when I spent midterm in Scotland and whilst abroad I obviously had to stop for a teeny-tiny shopping spree. With some ah-maze-ing sales and bargains, I grabbed a couple of new items from my most favorite stores ever: H & M and Forever 21.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<img border="0" height="380" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgeu2hATYH3uBLGXDVMy7VDmNkGq_mI9P7lhkFncplTjU75MbjZXbBA2k12E4hSWxu28t4JWxLa90d0NpUItnI3ZdKeHs-ArXKkXNJ7PzkzgZc0jnxT62wnatfmwNVmdr50lh8FDH3ljDA/s640/pride-prejudice-zombies-pstr04.jpg" width="640" /></div>
<br />
We've heard of it. Some might have even studied it. Those who claim themselves to be literary suckers probably even enjoyed or at least pretended to be mad about all of Jane Austen's just for the sake of their interest. If like me your pathway in life to some extent consists of the words ''humanists'' and ''arts'' you are probably doomed to a society where the classics are required to be worshiped, despite personal response. But when it comes to reviews and especially those combined with the world wide web, one cannot restrict themselves to words of praise just because it is respected to do so.<br />
<a name='more'></a><br />
Me, it took a while to fully understand the beauty behind <i>Pride & Prejudice, </i>and by a while I mean until quite recently when I re-watched the 2005 adaptation<i>. </i>Before this all I could allow myself to cherish narrowed down to the vivid characters and hilarious priorities of the early 19th century. Not enough reasons to absolutely steel my heart away. Plain and simple, I considered the story boring. Not because of its well too perfect romance tale but because the only real moment of climax and purpose came to me with the very end, making all the rest a giant mishmash of ''what the heck is this about?'' Obviously it isn't this way anymore. Until...I saw the new version of the movie and with an aching heart have to state it unfortunately does not fail to uphold the bland plot line I once believed <i>Pride and Prejudice</i> was famous for.<br />
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I didn't even expect a title such as <i>Pride + Prejudice + Zombies </i>to come across me, like ever. When it finally did my first thought relegated to something similar to the now popular gaming world; not much of my concern on this one. So when I did realize this is a completely new novel made into an actual feature-length motion picture, it had already long hit the theaters. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I will not deny I have been surprised; charmingly, in a positive manner. Expecting to see something of a mocking parody with the dumbest jokes around each corner, to my shock came a quite impressive, quality-wise, bearable to watch film. To be fully honest I was bewildered by how well they managed to stick with the original piece at the same time fitting the characters to the modern zombie ambiance without disfiguring their personalities- my heart turns to Lady Katherine in particular. I can't even complain about the technicalities including framing, special effects, music and cinematography. True, they definitely are not academy award worthy, but as far as your day-to-day basis cinema movie goes, they pass the test. Directing, costumes and setting were amazingly done pro and I can't even express the love I share for its screenplay. Doesn't seem so bad, right?<br />
<br />
But what about the time-honored book? I've read someone say how disrupted they were for the zombies to ''mock Austen's talent'' then again others complain by the lack of comedy in a suggestive parody. Myself, I was overly joyous this turned out to be more horror than funny. But I'm not going to compare this to the original. Not today anyhow. I've seen it as a stand-alone and that's how I'm going to review it.<br />
<br />
I do believe there was definitely more of <i>Pride and Prejudice</i> to it then there was of <i>The Walking Dead.</i> The first one did a better job anyway. As good as the acting was, fight scenes can only be described as pathetic. Your school drama kind a story where the main character is uncertain of how to hold a weapon. The seriousness of a zombie apocalypse was also rather laughable which brings us back to someone's view of the movie not living up to its title. They didn't exactly preform their best choosing between the atmosphere they wanted to go with; was it suppose to be dead serious or laugh worthy? The idea of zombies walking about by day light did not convince me either. So I guess it's safe to say the zombies were not brought out satisfyingly well as compared to the original plot. But I do admit the final war scenes were even quite entertaining and featured more of true fantasy the rest of the movie lacked. And obviously I can't complain about the woman-power either.<br />
<br />
Dedicated I sat and watched and suffered through the pain of 10 degrees in the hall and once it came to an end I can now fully commit to the opinion that indeed it did not live up its expectations. Neither a cheap, cranky parody nor a magnificent sci-fi classic. Lacking in action, tension and excitement the whole zombie idea took away more than it added. But I do admire its modernism, which to certain individuals might be somewhat more appealing. It is not a work of mockery but a brilliantly delivered fresh gush of an ancient art piece that just does not manage to break through the stiff walls of its story.<br />
<br />

<div style="text-align: justify;">
Another month another Glossy and this time round I'm extremely happy about the box's contents! Not only did the package come in extra cute to celebrate the month of love, but I was surprised to discover... <i>drum roll please</i>... <b>five full sized</b> products inside! Cray Cray!!</div>

<b><i>Nickak</i> Waterproof Eyeliner in Dark Brown £3.99</b></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Never a wrong time for a good eyeliner, especially if the one has a build-in sharpener and can be worn either pointed or smokey. Natural on the eyelid, it creates a mystery that's both edgy and subtle at once. On a cover note, the packaging is just so beautiful with the metallic lid and gentle hint of blue, it captures the eye for the very first impression. Only negative that it's waterproof- not something I necessarily need but I'm sure a lot of you will appreciate this feature :)</div>

<b><i>MUA</i> PowerPout Glaze in Rapture £3.50</b></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The minute I applied it I new it was going to be my new best buddy. Picking this natural, toned shade was purely because I already own too many pinks and it comes out it was a brilliant decision. Ages ago, being 11 I spotted some expensive lip gloss in<i> Sephora, </i>can't even remember the brand. Basically the only reason I begged mom for it was because it was called ''Twilight'' and as a huge vampire sucker back then I had to lay my hands on it! It was the first expensive makeup product I have ever received, and its caramel coffee flavor and shimmery brown tone had remained with me all this time. The<i> PowerPout </i>brought all them memories back, with a similar formula and an even better applier! Oh and price obviously :P<br />

<b><i>The Vintage Cosmetic</i> Slanted Tweezers £8</b></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
A thing I would definitely have not expected in my Glossybox! Yet super joyous for receiving it, my previous tweezers have been getting pretty blunt, making it hours before I could pluck them brows. And I mean, look at their design! So, so pretty <3<br />

Hello peeps!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
How is everyone doing? A week back or so I paired up with a fellow blogger <a href="http://weronikadabek.blogspot.co.uk/" target="_blank">Weronika from weronikadabek.blogspot.co.uk </a>(who's blog I've been obsessed with for the past few months!) and together we collaborated for this year's Valentine's special :) Below is her ultimate list of tips and advice on surviving this time of the year as a single! Take a look:</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
<div dir="ltr" style="line-height: 1.3800000000000001; margin-bottom: 10pt; margin-top: 0pt;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: "calibri"; font-size: 14.666666666666666px; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: 400; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">14th of February, loved by some, dreaded by others, yes I’m talking about St Valentine’s day. As a single it’s not really my favourite day of the year but I’m not a big hater of it either. I think it’s important to have at least one day a year to show somebody how much you love them and not seem weird or odd about it. But there are people, like me, who don’t have that special lovie dovie this day, so if you're that person.. I’m going to share some things that will help you to survive valentines! ☺</span></div>
</div>
<div dir="ltr" style="line-height: 1.3800000000000001; margin-bottom: 10pt; margin-top: 0pt;">

</div>
<div dir="ltr" style="line-height: 1.3800000000000001; margin-bottom: 10pt; margin-top: 0pt;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: "calibri"; font-size: 14.666666666666666px; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: 400; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">Grab your other single girls (or just all of your boy and girl friends)out: go for a pizza, go to Starbucks, go anywhere but spend a day with them and show them how much they mean to you and how much you love them. Friendship is also a kind of love and Valentine’s day is to show love, who said you have to show it to your significant other, show it to everybody you love <3</span></div>
</div>

</div>
<div dir="ltr" style="line-height: 1.3800000000000001; margin-bottom: 10pt; margin-top: 0pt;">

</div>
<div dir="ltr" style="line-height: 1.3800000000000001; margin-bottom: 10pt; margin-top: 0pt;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: "calibri"; font-size: 14.666666666666666px; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: 700; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">Stay in and chill </span></div>
</div>
<div dir="ltr" style="line-height: 1.3800000000000001; margin-bottom: 10pt; margin-top: 0pt;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: "calibri"; font-size: 14.666666666666666px; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: 400; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">This one kinda ties in with the previous one, maybe if you are not really a bath person then this one could be for you, and also in this one you can invite your friends over or spend it completely alone, so just order some pizza, grab popcorn, pick a good movie. WARNING ! Romantic movies are not recommended on this day for singles. And just forget about the world and melt yourself into the world of film , don’t think about the calories or anything, and again just enjoy !</span></div>
</div>
<div dir="ltr" style="line-height: 1.3800000000000001; margin-bottom: 10pt; margin-top: 0pt;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: "calibri"; font-size: 14.666666666666666px; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: 700; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">Go to the gym</span></div>
</div>
<div dir="ltr" style="line-height: 1.3800000000000001; margin-bottom: 10pt; margin-top: 0pt;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: "calibri"; font-size: 14.666666666666666px; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: 400; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">This is another one that I will be adapting. Listen, if you haven’t been at the gym because you're overwhelmed by the usual amount of people there, valentines is the perfect day to go, as everyone, well ...almost everyone is out on dates and everything therefore it’s a great time to take the first step into the gym, and begin your fitness journey. And if you already go to the gym, then you probably know how annoying it is when all the machines you want to go on are taken, well this day is perfect as it's almost empty there. </span></div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b id="docs-internal-guid-dec9bd7b-d78f-76e8-cb63-0d36297d23c0" style="font-weight: normal;"><br /></b>
</div>
<div dir="ltr" style="line-height: 1.3800000000000001; margin-bottom: 10pt; margin-top: 0pt;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: "calibri"; font-size: 14.666666666666666px; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: 400; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">So, Happy Valentine’s everybody !! Share love, happiness and positivity :) and most importantly remember it’s just one day so don’t get obsessed about it.</span></div>

</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<img border="0" height="510" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiL1k6CfoGBcRn_9UDW8X6rRq6EI1diIbnjd6KxZtTreLWEIux7asFcoSHVx6VzELSpJ4PNDM-zS_WB8m3oxNL6RjEON6vE_jRrnR5UGdyGwAzvIZy-wX814tkwfmQKuje21QZeFFGJ9Sg/s640/IMG_1190.jpg" width="640" /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Travelling has its epic and disastrous sides. Whether it's an hour journey to your Nan's or a whole day adventure abroad, I believe majority will agree not all trips are enjoyable. Especially when it comes to soaring the skies and cheap flights. Personally I adore the hustle of grand airports to a point I could call them a second home. But when it comes to being on a plane my only ambition is to invent a teleporter before hitting 20. </div>
<a name='more'></a>Tight space, stuffy air, turbulence and constant fear due to zero control over if the plane keeps flying or starts plunging 35k ft downwards. Call me a control freak, I already know I am one! So what actually helps me to get over the fact there's yet another airplane journey ahead of me?<br />
<br />
<b><span style="font-size: large;"></span></b><br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b><span style="font-size: large;"><b><span style="font-size: large;">1. Pre- Departure: Organize, Check, Pack</span></b></span></b></div>
<b><span style="font-size: large;">
</span></b>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Know time restrictions. Organize lift to the airport with decent time reserve. Check-in online. Be aware of what's prohibited in carry-on. Pack unnecessary items in main luggage. Ensure correct weight/ dimension of all bags. Essentials to be easily available. Check for flight status night before departure. Check weather conditions. Bus travelers- arrive on time, allow extra hour for ''emergency'' situations. Plan the process: check-in | security check | check departure gate | buy water | <i>Starbucks </i>break | go to gate | use the loo | get on board!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div>
<span style="font-size: large;"><b>2. Equip in: Gum, Water, Sweet Drink, Painkillers, Travel Sickness Pills, Light Snacks</b></span></div>
<div>
Chewing gum unblocks ears. Hydration is especially important! High-in-sugar items raise sugar levels in blood and prevent fainting. Headaches are common. So is feeling nauseated. Food gives energy- and makes you happy- and takes attention off the groaning machine!</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<b><span style="font-size: large;">3. Choose Suitable Seat</span></b></div>
<div>
Spending extra pounds to reserve a seat is almost always discouraging. However, if competing against tiny, hobbit-like spacing between chairs <i>(*coughs* Ryanair *coughs*) </i>it's definitely worth the expense! Front seats have extra leg space, likewise those in centre at ''exit'' doors. Back seats give comfort of a cooler air and no kicking children (<span style="background-color: white;"><span style="background-color: white;">FYI</span><span style="background-color: white;">- </span></span>ladies with babies tend to sit in the very front so if you dread crying toddler, back rows are to be considered) Outside seats are most handy; easy in easy out. But if your flight is equivalent to the cost of your <i>Big Mac</i>, why not buy two seats and enjoy the elbow-less armrests?</div>
<div>
<b><span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></b></div>
<div>
<b><span style="font-size: large;">4. Get Rid Off Carry-On</span></b></div>
<div>
Unless it's crucial to have, leave your suitcase behind. Majority flights offer drop-off point right at the plane's entrance. No hustle on the stairs, no hustle with it in the cabin. Simple. Just make sure to keep a bigger handbag for all other necessities ;)</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<b><span style="font-size: large;">5. Dress Code: Stretchy Pants, Loose Top, Runners Natural Hair and Zero Makeup</span></b></div>
<div>
Comfy clothing = comfy flight. And honestly, flight attendants could care less if your pulling off tracksuits or rockin' them jeans. Hair stays down, end of story. How do you picture resting your head with a high pony? Shoes can come off in-flight whilst sitting and enjoying your movie.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<b><span style="font-size: large;">6. Blanket, Pillow, Sanitizer, Baby Wipes, Hot Water Bottle</span></b></div>
<div>
Cozy and clean are a flying religion. Ask the attendants to fill up your hot water bottle and make yourself at home. Your welcome.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<span style="font-size: large;"><b>7. Distraction: Music, Novel, Mag, Movie, Nail Art</b></span></div>
<div>
Worst scenario possible: being bored. Headphones are your ultimate saver and combined with an audio book you could be crowned the flying queen! Don't focus on one distraction, read <i>Glamour</i>, catch up with <i>PLL</i>, start doing what you never have time for (ie. contemplate life and write a bestseller) and get them nails filed!</div>
<div>
<span style="font-size: large;"><b><br /></b></span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-size: large;"><b>8. Toilet, Toilet And Toilet Once More</b></span></div>
<div>
Let's not pretend we're mad about in-flight bathroom facilities. Doing the business even a hundred times if needed before departure relieves the worry of being sucked into atmosphere via toilet seat.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<span style="font-size: large;"><b>9. Straighten Up</b></span></div>
<div>
Sitting gets tiring. Stretched numbed muscles by even just walking like dumb up and down the aisle.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<b><span style="font-size: large;">10. Conversate </span></b></div>
<div>
Hating the air pressure is one thing. Being genuinely scared is another. Long conversations and befriending your one day neighbor distracts, relieves and who knows- perhaps even makes you laugh!</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<b>Your Carry-On Checklist: </b></div>
<div>
<ul>
<li>Passport</li>
<li>Ticket</li>
<li>Change and Safe Wallet </li>
<li>Water (bought after security check)</li>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
Hello peeps! </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I've been absolutely mad about healthy eating and active lifestyle probably since last October. Motivation can be tricky and so here's a list of the key tips I follow to keep myself fit and be happy about it:<br />
<a name='more'></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
</div>
<ul>
<li style="text-align: justify;"><b>Start Now.</b> You don't need 1st of January to change your lifestyle. Any time is good so stop procrastinating!</li>
<li style="text-align: justify;"><b>Don't analyse how long it will take to get fit.</b> Think of the time you already wasted.</li>
<li style="text-align: justify;"><b>5 times a week </b>is a minimum but if you ever feel you need a break take it or exchange a tough workout with something lighter- like yoga.</li>
<li style="text-align: justify;"><b>Start simple</b>. No one is forcing you to run 6 miles straight away or eat half less than you normally do. </li>
<li style="text-align: justify;"><b>Variety is the key.</b> Cycling can get boring too. Change up your workouts. Go to the gym, swimming pool or find a fitness video online. Choice is massive!</li>
<li style="text-align: justify;"><b>First cardio.</b> I found it easier to begin with cardio and gradually build my endurance. After some time, start throwing in short episodes of strength after at least 30 mins of workout, to tone up.</li>
<li style="text-align: justify;"><b>Focus on one area.</b> It's impossible to workout every inch of your body a day. Rotate between legs, butt, abs and arms. Them muscles need rest too!</li>
<li style="text-align: justify;"><b>Equip in cute gear. </b>Is it just me but does pretty workout outfit boost self esteem and motivation by 100%?</li>
<li style="text-align: justify;"><b>Forget the weight.</b> When you build muscle you gain weight, ultimately is not about the numbers but the way you feel about yourself. Do however record progress- this motivates!</li>
<li style="text-align: justify;"><b>Intervals.</b> Can be done in any way and are the best way to speed metabolism! </li>
<li style="text-align: justify;"><b>Push yourself.</b> Some days you're going to feel worthless, others as if you could take on the world. Use them well, if you want success work for it.</li>
<li style="text-align: justify;"><b>Admit it</b>. Being healthy is cool no matter what age. Full stop.</li>
<li style="text-align: justify;"><b>Eat post exercise.</b> Protein and protein and once more protein to repair damaged muscles.</li>
<li style="text-align: justify;"><b>Eat cake</b>. No one tells you to starve yourself. Treat yourself from time to time and then don't for the next few days. One bun does not make you put on 3 stone.</li>
<li style="text-align: justify;"><b>Bananas are my mantra.</b> It is hard to give up pancakes, ice cream, sweet drinks and other goodies. Did you know all of these can be made from just a banana?</li>
<li style="text-align: justify;"><b>Fruit sugars. </b>Bananas are handy but they're not all saint either. Kiwi, banana and grapes have very large amounts of sugars which later get stored as fat and should not be eaten more than 3 times a week. Generally vegetables are better than fruit. </li>
<li style="text-align: justify;"><b>Anything can contain veggies.</b> Whether a sandwich or full meal, throw in something nutritious each time.</li>
<li style="text-align: justify;"><b>Familiarize with food pyramid.</b> ''Special Diets''suck, this is the truth. No matter what they promise they're usually hard to stick with and in the end result in the so famous ''yo-yo'' effect. Balanced diet is the best option so realize how many portions of what to eat a day and eat whatever you want in moderation. </li>
<li style="text-align: justify;"><b>Eat when you want.</b> Optimum is 5 meals a day at fixed times and in small amounts. But truth is. when you're hungry you're hungry and you should snack on something light instead of starving yourself. Likewise, if you do not feel the need to eat at a given time then don't.</li>
<li style="text-align: justify;"><b>Skip supper.</b> Eating after 6pm can have a huge impact on weight loss. I found myself loosing more weight if I ate my last meal four hours before going to bed. It's not simple, you are going to be hungry but the delight with breakfast in the morning is worth it!</li>
<li style="text-align: justify;"><b>Breakfast and water-</b> the fixed rule. Always the same story, breakfast and hydration are a key to healthy metabolism and ultimately weight loss. The two run your day. </li>
<li style="text-align: justify;"><b>Frozen fruit </b>are a BFF. With cereal, smoothies or ice creams, frozen fruit are both yummy and nutritious, giving them hair a nice shine and immunity over the cold season. And they're affordable! </li>
<li style="text-align: justify;"><b>Find a ''push'' source</b>. Some enjoy music, I personally prefer movies, that is when I'm working out at home. In terms of motivation, nothing acts better than Youtube videos and magazines. What I advice to stay away from is social media. It can decrease your self esteem immensely!</li>
<li style="text-align: justify;"><b>Red tea</b> acts purifying and assists metabolism and detoxing. Liquids also fill you up so they're definitely a good thing to turn to if craving food in excess. </li>
<li style="text-align: justify;"><b>Sleep.</b> Lack of sleep deprives body from proper functioning and disables weight loss.</li>
<li style="text-align: justify;"><b>Cold showers</b> cause muscle contraction and can aid body toning. They also fortify immune system. </li>
<li style="text-align: justify;"><b>Rest and relax. </b>As important as it is to exercise it is also essential to rest. Stress can be the worst enemy and taking an average walk or meditating can be just as effective as an hours workout. </li>
<li style="text-align: justify;"><b>Remember</b>. This is not a six month program. Once you decide to be healthy and get fit, it's a change of lifestyle.</li>
<li style="text-align: justify;"><b>Reduce</b>. The longer you exercise, the more you can reduce it weekly. However never quit it. Your body first accepts the ''change'' after nine months of continuous workout. That's your first goal set.</li>
<li><b style="text-align: justify;">Stay positive.</b><span style="text-align: justify;"> Reward yourself, whether it be a cookie on a Sunday evening or a brand new bikini! Once you begin there's no turning back and if it ever feels like it, think about how much you have already achieved!</span></li>
</ul>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Over the past 3 months I lost a total of 5kg. I worked out approximately 4 times a week for 40 minutes, in the beginning on a rowing machine and recently rotating between jogging and fitness videos. I eat what I want in very moderated amounts. Besides this, not once have I caught the common cold, compared to previous winters when I got sick at least twice during the season. Condition of my skin and nails has greatly improved. On top of everything, I feel incredibly joyous for sticking with myself. Conclusion? If I could you can too!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Yes, it will be hard in the beginning. Yes, if you're sixteen living with parents it will more than likely be impossible for them to comprehend you are in require of ''healthier option'' foods (not to mention sneer comments on how you won't last a week). And yes, you will have to quit sugar in your coffee.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
But guess what? It's 2016 and I bet one of those lame resolutions is to get your ass off the couch so I'm telling you to do so right now. Wanna be fit for summer? Don't lie to yourself you can start in May! Good luck ;) </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
PS. By any means I am NOT a fitness instructor/ dietitian. These are some tips I found to be helpful in my case, majority learnt by own experience or read online/magazine. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
PSS. I am writing this straight after an hour jog + toning exercises and eating a delicious slice of chocolate cake and ice cream (how rude). There are so many things I still want to write but I think this'll do for now :)</div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
Hello peeps,</div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
as much as I love to recommend and marvel about tones of cheap beauty bargains that are just too good not to admire, there does exist that bunch of goodies in my bathroom I ain't too pleased with this month. How often can you do ''monthly favorites'' before they get boring? Personally, I believe least favorites are just as interesting to read and are the only type of posts that truly get the opinions out there.</div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

<br />
<a name='more'></a><br /><br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b>Aussie Winter Miracle Dry Shampoo- </b>sucker for all things hair, to no surprise comes the fact I've owned MANY dry shampoos in my beauty freak career. Lets be honest, dry shampoos are useless in the first place and when you come across one that is just the worst of all, you seriously want to bang the head off a wall on a Monday morning. People rave about <i>Aussie </i>as if it was an environmental saving invention, destined to prevent earth from irreversible cataclysm. Well, maybe it is, I wouldn't know- I've never tried their other products. So the idea of purchasing my first one of theirs was very appealing when I came across this winter designed hair re-freshener at a reduced price (maybe the cute snowflake and words ''limited edition'' provoked the impulse buy as well).</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I won't deny I expected quite much. Maybe not mountains of miracles at once but definitely hoped for it to stand out among the rest. Ultimately, it does- in the worse case scenario. And the only word that can describe my hair condition after usage of this ''winter miracle'' is HIDEOUS. Not only does it dry out the roots completely, at the same time sticks one strand to the other and makes you look as if you can't afford a good shower. Never mind whether it be one or two day old hair, loose or pinned up, styled or let out naturally- the shampoo makes you look a thousand times more like a nightmare than you already think you are. In more posh words- this product is not fit for its intended purpose, simultaneously breaking approximately ten legislation regarding consumer rights- THAT is disappointment.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b>Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Top Coat- </b>I love Sally's nail polishes. I'd say we all enjoy the slightly more expensive treat of professional nail care. But this? What happened? In the beginning, I very much enjoyed it- it helped nails to dry quicker and gave a nice shine to all nail polishes in general. But the thing was, it did not meet expectations quality wise. The so promised ''2 week lasting'' quickly dropped to four days only and honestly I couldn't see much difference between this 15 euro ''miracle'' treatment and your average 3 euro top coat from <i>Primark</i>. After months of disappointment I think I did get over the fact it was not an exceptional piece of nail care and that getting mad about it wouldn't make it perform any better. But then, after five months from opening, the formula reached it final days. Thick and clumpy, it was more than impossible to use. I checked the labels, to further disappointment finding it was supposed to last 12 whole freaking months and drenched half a bottle and half the money down the drain. Not the best experience, a grand 1 out of 10 for this one- boo hoo hoo :(</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b><br /></b></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b>Yves Rocher Coconut Lip Balm- </b>Once again a lovely example of why not to impulse buy nor get naive and allow the toady sales assistants and their ''spend five more euro at our shop and you'll receive a gift the next time you spend over a hundred!'' *rolls eyes*, to suck up once your foot crosses the door step. But hey, you can never have enough of lip balms right?! Apparently you can if instead of moisturizing and nourishing your gently lips they turn them lizard dry and rough as a 19 year old carpet. The texture is watery and greasy, it uses up extremely quick and does not even create the illusion of a moisturized pout. I don't know how about you, but for me this sounds a little too convincing to never lay my hands on <i>Yves Rocher</i> balms ever again. Throw in the word ''miracle'' and we'll have a lovely summary made.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
So that is it. Probably not everyone is going to agree with me and that's cool. After all, don't these kind of stuff work differently on everyone? But do let me know if you used any of the above before and what were <i>your </i>thoughts on them. Perhaps some suggestions on more promising alternatives? :)</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>

Love,</div>

Hello peeps,</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
You may or may not already know of my slight mascara addiction, and the collection I believe to be a bit exaggerated. But in a summary, the little beauty wands (with absolutely way too convincing packaging) are my heroin. Back in the day when I started blogging, one of the first posts was my mascara collection. Obviously it has changed a lot since that time and I've decided to redo this post, choosing my ultimate favorite and give you guys a run down of what's out there worth buying. </div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<b style="text-align: left;">Rockin' Curves- </b><span style="text-align: left;">Once I've been overly obsessed with Rimmel, especially their mascaras. This one I have had for ages and perhaps repurchased it a couple of times. Its bendy, curved brush does reach absolutely every inch of the lash line and really does enhance their length and shape. It is definitely one of the ''WOW!'' type of mascaras, however, I'm not too fond on the formula. After a whole day it starts to chirp up and is slightly hard to remove. If applied too quickly it's easy for lashes to clump. But overall it is one of my favorite drugstore mascaras out there.</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<span style="text-align: left;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<span style="text-align: left;"><b>Mega Plush- </b>Crap, crap, crap and once more crap! My only expectations for it was to give me light but full of volume lashes. The wonky and wobbly wand makes it impossible to apply in a decent manner and majority of the mascara ends up on the eyelid. Formula is not too bad but the lack of effect you get, in reality requires tones of extra layers. Besides, for me, it really sticks the lashes and reduces their amount giving this horrible, shredded texture.</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<span style="text-align: left;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<span style="text-align: left;"><b>Lash Sensational-</b> For a long while I was convinced people were way too in love with this and their opinions were only affected by make-up gurus' reviews. Personally, for good couple of months I did not find anything sensational about it. I have rather short but thick lashes, and it is usually the lengthening I struggle with. Basically, lengthening mascaras never give an incredible effect. But only recently I noticed how exceptionally it presents itself accompanied with nice eye shadow. Due to the contrast you can then really spot the lovely, wide-opened eye, so definitely loving that! </span></div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<b>Double Extension- </b>The double sided tube consists of a conditioning primer and a well formulated mascara to be applied over it. I am pretty much convinced it's the primer that does the magic and for this reason, I have been head over heals in love. Both the lengthening and volumizing effect are stunning and the application just as the removal are baby simple. I use the primer with majority of other mascaras and it really works wonders! (besides the Mega Plush- nothing works on that!)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<b>Push Up- </b>Mixed feelings have been crossing my mind regarding this one. One way I love its good quality and how well it presents itself with the L'Oreal primer. But the truth is, on its own it is genuinely disappointing. Your average mascara at double price. Definitely not glamorous, but it does separate the lashes quite nicely. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEif-I0UmtvIXb0EP2PORO9uBMliPl5lulkip6WHqzBbtR92yxgie0rQdrnAP3pPMxAJVcMiVWdbeSedmc1anZ1gkKsc_1ybD1IRBDBPDVmU0-lPtqIkAyIhlPWwUUmcGXgHb2bWd5Wl0A4/s1600/IMG_0975.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEif-I0UmtvIXb0EP2PORO9uBMliPl5lulkip6WHqzBbtR92yxgie0rQdrnAP3pPMxAJVcMiVWdbeSedmc1anZ1gkKsc_1ybD1IRBDBPDVmU0-lPtqIkAyIhlPWwUUmcGXgHb2bWd5Wl0A4/s640/IMG_0975.jpg" width="530" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<b>Grandiose- </b>Again one that has been given a lot of praise, which in my opinion were slightly biased. However, it would be a lie to say I do not enjoy using it. My favorite part about it is definitely the weirdly curved brush and the intensity with which it covers. I love the short bristles that separate each lash individually and cover from inside out and top to bottom. The effect is massive but not that much better from Lash Sensational (even though this one looks well even without eye shadow). Removing it is a bit though, sometimes I feel as it was waterproof. Is it worth the entire 30 euro? Nope, I wouldn't give more than 20 for it if I had the choice but I guess we pay for the brand. Still, very lovely and practical.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<b>Rollerlash- </b>How long have I been on a hunt for this! Ultimately decided to go with travel size, in case it wouldn't be as amazing as they wrote. Thankfully it is, and serves me well. I can honestly say, the only lengthening mascara which does work on me to a further extent. Formula does not particularly outshine all others; it is good, no complains, but not magical whatsoever. The brush does the trick, super easy to use and build up layers. Nice coverage and extra long-lasting. On the packaging note- extremely appealing!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEglQDzAmxZmX_-Hul9aDFzhWyOkHj1aH-n7uFX9oBtNVn9JLof3s9IPaAXWghIQ_GFjoDmidNLqAqWl88yCS9C3LAVFaNFJBc6qp23eoZuXspZ3Qvdxcl-btz_BzeTJ_tkQP10KRtLMhUw/s1600/IMG_0976.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEglQDzAmxZmX_-Hul9aDFzhWyOkHj1aH-n7uFX9oBtNVn9JLof3s9IPaAXWghIQ_GFjoDmidNLqAqWl88yCS9C3LAVFaNFJBc6qp23eoZuXspZ3Qvdxcl-btz_BzeTJ_tkQP10KRtLMhUw/s640/IMG_0976.jpg" width="476" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<b><br /></b></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<b>Conclusion?</b></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Drugstore-wise, <b>Double Extension</b> (8/10) wins no doubt, both affordable and beautiful. Straight after followed by <b>Lash Sensational </b>(7.5/10) and <b>Rockin' Curves </b>(7/10). In terms of high street, I think it has been long agreed <i>nous adorons </i><b>Rollerlash </b>(8.5/10)<b>. </b></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b><br /></b></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I have yet to find my perfect match, but I think I'm not doing bad so far :)</div>

Hello peeps,</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I've been getting quite into DIY kind of spirits lately, finding this to be the absolute solution to de-stress and chillout on a weekend. Since my artistic skills are probably not a master degree worthy, I limit myself to the flow. Whatever comes out it comes out so I do whatever I wish on the moment. Having five cardboard boxes piled on my window sill for the past three months, was VERY disturbing. As a slight perfections, things out of order bug me to a point I bail on my Sylvia Plath assignment for English and dedicate free time to mess around with super glue; it's time to do something with empty containers.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
So I took the opportunity to rearrange my room, make it tidy, neat and a bit more ''aesthetic''. What other way but to achieve this by ''stuffing'' bits and pieces into pretty, beauty boxes?</div>
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<strike><img border="0" height="536" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgzlGM-HbPX5sI4qOkh3le-euU7RWok7Y0ggV3C8nYkhtxRjNQNDeDeLZZeqtDHcU7SoRyOdOgDPwJVWwT-bxNRTlM797Xw9sc25Qst-hLBjmUUHbhp6CrjEnLN6gZoh56ukea1ecZMXYc/s640/IMG_1117.JPG" width="640" /></strike></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<strike></strike></div>
<a name='more'></a><strike><br /></strike><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<img border="0" height="534" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEipjX-pbfTbz1Spdq00n8uab4QIQhcCaR1vd59KW-o2wGuwnoogl5iiz7P3GaBVYi8d7Rq8Op06O6KJwYFZ5Hl2VBTLSak6xYdulrAsdAtSyIzZVMX0chU7hGTryVrEg29ZNlDq3GQaA2U/s640/IMG_1146.JPG" width="640" /></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
This works for any type of beauty bottle stacked on my drawer; from leave-in conditioners to body sprays, a simple box makes the job of wiping dust a million times easier. Not to mention nothing more falling out of order.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<img border="0" height="406" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiOovaVy0DmJJ0gpbwLDfQcMvn7FXAmTUrU2-urfTPQKoccvYtn61SvufXJofxnoy0QyAAKTgCc9dfLOzutnFOIVN6B5EBYoizXQN5FpL32OXyvh3dHPtMMg7gZag3078vP6nCH94qWe_o/s640/IMG_1118.JPG" width="640" /><strike style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"></strike></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<img border="0" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgBDziV0q_8DBIBT1OSX4Z6HdBlrShL_9BxNtkBILhcEovWwGtN12HUMyIQ8w4Lsd4hAlXxYBmQ5XSoWhNEX-3oA6g5AV3a-36fpW8PfcN9v82DOoQvf1y6liab74RWwqZF2J5gKA6xnps/s640/IMG_1115.JPG" width="640" /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
In a deep corner of my jewelry box I stumbled across a glass full of beads and accessorize I once used when being mad about DIY bracelets. Since I got long bored with that, I knew I wouldn't need them anymore. Instead, I spiced up a plain pink cover lid, which now proudly sits on my desk, containing thousands of scraps of papers, all titled ''Idea #''.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<img border="0" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEic05gCXEFUhecZKhwJARfAxW7_fkiAk_HXkLHxLxMo-90iTar66mL_YjK-5To9cG7NMGF-2RNVawHTzPSs6XtoyXi6yfBvBeUAySfA73lu55h3MkMd70TMbBTT6GaevSUpDDUF5RoJiBU/s640/IMG_1144.JPG" width="640" /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Another thing on my desk that would not mind a bit of organising was definitely my stationary. No longer tossed into a raggy pencil case, now is well placed, easy to pick up, whenever. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img border="0" height="422" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiD7MiovJo1r10Yeih18CZx35gUmdnSbhN3SNGK1pNOWbjFNXNLQm_NGQa99OcqRWxHhpcntXLhOVIMKgZQKhWk1nK2h9lfJ-rlAiKsiGsA_FExH-jBTC7oxiXaWZhkaQP555OdaX-L8RY/s640/IMG_1135.JPG" width="640" /></div>
<br />
<br />
I've seen many cool ways I could still reuse remaining boxes, like transforming them into picture frames or creating a doll house for my little sister (we did something similar back in pre-school, when we designed a room inside a box, it was pretty amazing making little couches and coffee tables from styrofoam and plastic bottles).<br />
<br />
What is your remedy for a nerve wracking week?<br />
<br />
Chat again very soon.<br />
Love,<br />

</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Hi peeps,</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Long time no see and suddenly we're in 2016! This is not crazy- this is terrifying. Not to mention that blogging was definitely not on the top of my game recently, for which I solemnly apologize. But since it was Christmas, I think I'm excused. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Since it is still winter and my favorite season, it's time for a bit of a make up bag sneak peak. As far as I recall, I never did a 'what's in my make up bag' post and they're certainly my most enjoyable to read, so I thought, why not?! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Even though Ireland suffers a ''depressingly rainy, snow-free zone'' type of climate, it does not give an excuse to ditch on heavier make up during the winter. Quite frankly the only excuse it does give is for me to experiment with beauty goodies and give out myself to the pleasure of spending longer hours in front of the mirror. I am sixteen, make up is the last worry (and necessity!) on my head right now but it doesn't change the fact it still remains my all time fave hobby, which my make up bag clearly conveys. I like to keep it simple, fun and with just a pinch of edge. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
I honestly think there is zero need to rave about the <i>Emite</i> primer, <i>Rimmel</i> concealer or <i>Benefit's </i>Rollerlash. I've graced them with enough attention as it is and I'm sure majority of you undoubtedly heard about them.The <i>L'Oreal</i> foundation is something I wouldn't turn to on everyday basis. It's fun to use during the chillier days when I'm heading for a small shopping get together or an occasional party, otherwise it stays in the bag. The lipstick however, I am still getting used to!</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Red is definitely not a shade I would ever go for- it is too brave and makes me look older which is not the purpose! But, this orange-y coral was very appealing and I think it suits the season perfectly.</div>
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<img border="0" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgobcSxUI6DovE7xRyoVYsoAXXKG5kJdtR9wnHX6cPcXqf1PdfGaoxekmeadJRrtQn10b0LiY26fHmPm-IgtdsyiBTm1yOJdhgMo8u48PA0XYlBOnv7gTYNEOMMaVc3BZEnSn-9TGdNPIc/s640/IMG_0958.jpg" width="640" /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I love <i>Rimmel</i> and perhaps am too obsessed with it. But the eyebrow pencil is worth even the most psychopathic adoration!The cream eye shadows took me some time to get used to using but the work payed off and I'm a happy owner of two shades; the one above for winter and a beautiful gold pot for the warm summers. The eye liners are something I like to add when the make up is fast, simple and dull. They add just the gist of metallic color needed to spice things up a bit. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
What's currently in your make up bag and which of these have you used before? I love hearing from you so let me know your thoughts down in the comments and have a wonderful week :)</div>

<br />
Living in Ireland since the age of 7 taught me two things- 1) It's never an unsuitable time of the year to order hot choco and wear a woolly jumper 2) Out of all annoying questions I ever get asked, the cultural ones fascinate me the most.<br />
<br />
Being asked about the lifestyle in Poland approximately twenty eight hundred times a year, I discovered how much in fact I am in love with the various traditions of different cultures and how passionate I am to hear (and talk) about them.<br />
<br />
The main concept behind Christmas is obviously the same, but the traditions and rituals that follow vary quite a bit than to how its being celebrated in Ireland, UK, America etc.<br />
<br />
<b>So what exactly is the main difference?</b><br />
<a name='more'></a><br />
The Christmas Day itself is nothing less festive than anywhere else, but in Poland it is in actual fact the 24th (i.e Christmas Eve) that plays the biggest deal. It is this evening that families gather together for a dinner and exchange gifts (yup, we open up presents on the 24th!)<br />
<br />
According to, I suppose, the ''official'' tradition, the evening meal begins with the first star appearing in the sky, symbolizing the star of Bethlehem the three kings followed on the night of Jesus' birth. This obviously isn't something applied to nowadays, imagining sever weather conditions you could go to bed hungry, but I guess it's treated more as an excuse given to the inpatient kids who do nothing but disturb preparations in the kitchen.<br />
<br />
The meal usually begins with a prayer, said by the head of a family and an exchange of holy bread. Now, I guess this probably sounds ridiculous but basically, to symbolize unity and exchange Christmas wishes, each family member shares the ''holy bread''. This is nothing more than a rectangular shaped, white, thinly cut wafer with decorations of sacred images like the angels, Jesus in a manger etc (and tastes really good btw).<br />
<br />
We also have some of our traditional dishes, and it is said that there must always be exactly twelve of them on the dinner table, referring to the number twelve holding a significant meaning in Christianity and the twelve disciples. This is something that can be of a more or less importance depending on a household. Despite one particular tradition, it has actually been modified quite a lot in modern times in almost every family. In my family we never really have all 12 dishes as simply it's not necessary, however spending Christmas Eve at my aunt's or granny's it would be clear this is something they pay close attention to.<br />
<br />
The day ends with a midnight mass, a two hour church celebration that not everyone is brave enough to undertake- not me anyways. It's not essential to go, and majority of people just attend the church the following morning.<br />
<br />
<b>Then what are some of the traditional dishes?</b><br />
Some of the popular ones include; Beetroot/ fish/ mushroom soup, dumplings, carp, herring, cabbage with mushrooms, mushroom sauce, dried fruit juice (compote), pasta with poppy seeds, croquettes with cabbage and mushroom, poppy seed cake, gingerbread cake etc. Basically, a lot of fish, mushroom and poppy seeds! And yes, I do imagine that if you never had any of these before you might be going like ''ewww, what!?'' but trust me, as disgusting as they might sound they are absolutely delicious! Again, these vary a lot, and people tend to stick to dishes they like the most and exclude all other or modify recipes. The carp is probably one of the most horrific, smelliest, fishiest fish out there and for this reason we never serve it at our dinner.<br />
<br />
<b>What about the presents?</b><br />
We open up gifts after the Christmas Eve dinner. We do believe in Santa (well... you know what I mean!), we leave cookies and milk out, we find them under the Christmas tree and the whole conspiracy behind it is exactly the same. When I was a kid and desperately forced myself (and others) to believe in father Christmas, our parents always placed out the goodies on the night of 23rd, so when we woke up in the morning they were already there (the excitement though). Now with all of us aware of who really buys the stuff and my sister being too young to comprehend, we could care less to wake up at 2 am just to bring downstairs few boxes. The santa cosplay is not unfamiliar either, with your biggest uncle coming in with a large sack of gifts after the meal. A lot of families put out the gifts only after the dinner is done and dusted with as it is ideal no one tears a present up until everyone finishes eating. Some have the gifts out long before the holidays begin, and as I said, differs from one household to another.<br />
<br />
<b>And the 25th of December?</b><br />
I like to call this ''the left over day''. Being stuffed with food from night before it's not surprising to skip breakfast and later on have dumplings and fish for lunch. But seriously, Christmas Day is as festive in Poland as anywhere else. Shops are closed and it's usually the day to visit your closer friends and distant families. A dinner is also a big thing this day, with no particular food requirements, a lot of people serve some of the more ''sophisticated'' meats, such as duck (or yes, even turkey). It's also probably one of the most relaxed days of the year, with majority of people watching Christmas movies or heading out for walks (if given the pleasure of white Christmas, sleighing and snow ball fights are the type of a chill out!)<br />
<br />
<b>Anything on St. Stephan's Day? </b><br />
The 26th (known also as the second day of Christmas) is just as festive as the 25th. However, with several businesses opened, skating and similar activities are common to pass the free time.<br />
<b><br /></b>
<b>What's up with the 6th?</b><br />
You might have heard that the polish also celebrate the 6th of December. This day is known as St. Nicholas' Day, who I suppose is kind of treated like father Christmas. Not many celebrate this day anymore however, and it's usually only the kids that would find little bits of sweets or small toys hidden in their shoes (or stockings).<br />
<b><br /></b>
<b>Any other differences about the holiday?</b><br />
<b><br /></b>
<b>- The decorations aren't as ''wow-ing''. </b>We do decorate the streets and houses, but I think the amount and variety of ornaments and stuff available in the shops isn't as impressive as the ones here on the island. Everything is a lot more subtle and less ''fairy light-y'' over in Poland.<br />
<br />
<b>-Stocking are not as common.</b> Majority of the stocking fillers can basically be found on the 6th, and due to this we don't technically hang up stockings for Christmas Day.<br />
<br />
<b>-Christmas Carols are a huge deal. </b>I don't mean the classic old rock Christmas songs they turn on the radio throughout entire December, but genuine, religious, polish, Christmas carols. There's a lot of them, and we usually begin learning them in pre-school. They are popular to sing during Christmas concerts, mass and TV Christmas celebration shows. I'd say majority of people know them off by heart.<br />
<br />
<b>-The sales aren't as big.</b> Basically, there's no such a thing as the Boxing Day. Obviously, major sales follow the Christmas season, but the prices are still not as low as you wish they were ;)<br />
<br />
And yeah, this is basically how it looks in Poland :) I am super curious of hearing of how you celebrate Christmas weather you're from UK or The Philippines!<br />
<br />
<br />
I'd also like to take this opportunity to wish you a very merry, peaceful and happy Christmas, following an unforgettable New Year. Hope you enjoy every single day and live it to the fullest!<br />
<br />
Love,<br />
Kinga xx<br />

Hello peeps,<br />
Since we're getting more and more into the Christmas spirit and the 25th is already lurking out the corner, I'd say it's safe to assume festive parties are trending this week. I myself have few upcoming outings and the thought of getting ready is probably the most exciting bit! Having received my December Glossybox a whole two weeks back, I really wanted to make a post including some of the products I got and thought they would nicely combine with some of my already existing, party-skin-care-routine, basics .<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<img border="0" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhYW7RgKTS2qU_TU4o0fnhjCdjXN_2-YKCMJ4W_hGdV77bB8kcQzVCsjm9qcn4UyCsORDFRzORjPwQ9qKD7Qor0VoDEAE4QxS_6iZjuPIVsX1NkIPcdNX4fjeHxGB0gMKVwH7Q-L49-290/s640/IMG_1036.JPG" width="640" /></div>
<br />
<br />
<a name='more'></a>Received in Glossybox:<br />
1) <i>Starskin</i> Facial Mask<br />
2) <i>Kiko</i> Mascara<br />
3) <i>So Susan</i> Highlighter Pencil<br />
4) <i>Philosophy</i> Purity Made Simple 3-in-1 Cleanser<br />
5)<i> Emite </i>Diamond Heart Primer and <i>Eylure</i> Eye Lashes (November box)<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<img border="0" height="436" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjq-sUiJKkOA9mnWReM0Nfi17Y8Q0lSawhx2k422tiBpqNJf41P50-wTj-OV7xcqVhyphenhyphendL9bcX9w2ZrzBGPhFPVsegx195dDCGQpFq7z60tz-qm811IEqUUYg05DJcwWYllelFCVnBVmcuE/s640/IMG_1042.JPG" width="640" /></div>
<br />
Kicking off with preparing the skin first of all, I will remove any traces of dirt, make-up and oil from my face with the <i>Philosophy</i> cleanser. I have tested this out ever since I received the box and let me say I really freaking like it. As much as I hate using anything but my most beloved micellar water to remove make-up, this facial cleanser has convinced me to try out something different and made the process a tone lot easier.<br />
Next I'll use my always loving <i>Yves Rocher</i> facial scrub, and lastly give the face mask a shot. I absolutely love using face masks and I'm terribly excited to try this one out.<br />
For extra hydration the <i>Garnier </i>Hydra Adapt will forever be my go to moisturizer and before apply any gram of make-up, I'll smooth the skin out with the <i>Emite</i> primer, which I could literally rave about for hours <3<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<img border="0" height="466" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhhar7nAm9iv2SFZfi9b4E3tRQOXbpMQ1wNiBwKwa3CWu5Bt9xV55aJvBLjAyfQEf8PbndDjHbrDVEoqyvOC38gDtXGjOkMOUTqJEEZY1p5rzQMpLq-LEhnh078bGFsCq9Pgy35Oz4qw_A/s640/IMG_1044.JPG" width="640" /></div>
<br />
For the actual make-up, some of the definite products include the above.<br />
The <i>L'Oreal</i> True Match foundation is one I really enjoy using on occasional basis and I think the primer makes it even more comfortable to wear which is nice since I detest heavy make-up.<br />
Highlighting pencil from <i>So Susan </i>looks very pretty for a typical party wear. Otherwise I think it would be slightly too shiny and hard to blend in, but in the winter I find it okay to add a little bit more shimmer to the look.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<img border="0" height="510" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi5uZY5il0NDEz5qHkLi_9cxSxUSXtafs8H2KbiFesi29tsZYvRH7QTeo4sVdGrqLmxLPoJsS1NTS_Y4Yd3KgDSwiFezbZW_Dr7Qq99-rdlWZkSeXFkeLjqBTuQ9nhf7lPW36n3uBCWBKI/s640/IMG_1039.JPG" width="640" /></div>
<br />
Going more natural with the eyes, I'd like to emphasis the lashes instead of the eyelids and the previously received <i>Eylure</i> fake lashes could come in handy. As a total mascara addict I can't wait to test out this <i>Kiko</i> Extra Sculpt mascara- hopefully it won't disappoint me!<br />
With eyes a bit more toned, the lips are ones to rock. I'v been loving the <i>Rimmel</i> Provocalips for good year now, and the newly received <i>Essence</i> Liquid Lipstick will be a great top coat.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
<br />
I am so excited for the upcoming few days, even though I've still got school on Monday and Tuesday *weeps and weeps and weeps*. What are your plans for the beginning of this week and for the New Year?<br />
<br />

<br /></div>
Hello peeps,<br />
As a short end week post I wanted to show you what is currently priding itself on my nails. I really love seeing posts on what others are wearing so I thought it would be fun to do one myself.<br />
<br />
I'm definitely not an aspiring nail artist, and when it comes to nail art; I love seeing it, not doing it. I never really enjoy excessive designs on my nails, I don't feel good in them. Sometimes I allow myself a bolder, more vivid colour, <br />
<a name='more'></a>but other than that, I'm a total french manicure maniac!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<img border="0" height="602" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiCEfZCh9Zomek_pSYRTCzfBCbM7YsZ0pYihC5agetslQh_vB4W1PBkoU4-GjZFm-AkiimNwy61FcCdtn45vBUP3JqSjPOOFg45pdFjINxZknSaTwrN_VUNCyGRa5BaesVn6FKHaV6nUw4/s640/IMG_1030.JPG" width="640" /></div>
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
If you ever catch me with nails done properly and wearing them for over three days- it's a holy day. I'm terrible when I have to prevent myself from scrapping off the nail polish and even worse to motivate myself to paint them all over again. Today, it was a total spontaneous, ''I have no idea what I'm aiming to achieve'' kind a situation. The results though, made me proud :)</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<img border="0" height="554" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgtLQttthwIjV5QEGHtj4mB-ht-GQBIhW_YXdMf3P9svmZDLOTZ0rSdPwdZroybmePtQsP23ds9e2QiC3JSq-DjUY8uyCVt4fOT3jkRUpq43agGJua1vfRY4LuT9Jb25Wd4nRUi38LbgaY/s640/IMG_1031.JPG" width="640" /></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiFv7vkHuVQ9uemyNOqsCGCYFRCCalsEhNPNx-2s3QL9CGxJFSJSw55pqZZYpWIcRhfJdrMvSyfR3s6BNM-8uOSBi-XxxdaMoC1wbRMbVWQ0IDX9fY_3wEEE6BCDDwnT53sqPHRozIGdFA/s1600/IMG_1033.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="506" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiFv7vkHuVQ9uemyNOqsCGCYFRCCalsEhNPNx-2s3QL9CGxJFSJSw55pqZZYpWIcRhfJdrMvSyfR3s6BNM-8uOSBi-XxxdaMoC1wbRMbVWQ0IDX9fY_3wEEE6BCDDwnT53sqPHRozIGdFA/s640/IMG_1033.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
Wanting something neutral, but a bit more festive, I went with the <i>Isadora</i> Wonder Nail in 708 Cool Camel and topped with the <i>Color Factory</i> Gold Glitter. It looks great, dried quickly and isn't exactly attention seeking but still pretty :)<br />
<br />
What's on your nails today?<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Hello peeps,</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Is it too late for a November favourites post? Maybe, but I'm doing one anyway and since half of these stuff I have owned before November, lets treat it more as <i>current</i> beauty affairs. Lets go...</div>
<a name='more'></a><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span>
<span style="color: #3d85c6; font-size: large;">1) The Color Workshop Nail Polish in Gold</span><br />
I got this for my birthday, a whole year ago from one my friends but haven't really used it that often. Then recently I was dying for some gold nails and gave it a shot. I've been obsessed ever since! As I'm typing, I am actually wearing it. It is this gorgeous pure gold, shimmery tone, super long lasting and quick to apply. I find it perfect for this time of the year and like to combine it with cherry red designs. The best thing is that it looks exactly the same on the nails as it does in the bottle and due to its vibrant formula, one coat is always enough.<br />
<br />
<span style="color: #3d85c6; font-size: large;">2) Garnier Neo Deodorant </span><br />
Does this seem weird? I don't know, but I have been loving it so obviously had to include it. If you have read my <a href="http://missglamoroussweatpants.blogspot.ie/2015/10/another-drugstore-beauty-craze.html" target="_blank">beauty haul post</a>, back from October, you will know that was the time when I got it. As you can see it is now all gone and I'm desperate to repurchase it. Basically, it's an invisible, fragrance-free, dry cream antiperspirant which is amaze balls. All I can say, is that it works the way it's supposed to. Along with that, it moisturizes, doesn't mix with whatever perfume I'm using and doesn't add to the ozone depletion! Not too mention it's super affordable.<br />
<br />
<span style="color: #3d85c6; font-size: large;">3) Emite Diamond Heart Base Primer</span><br />
This, as you may already know, arrived in my Glossy Box back in the middle of November (which you can read about <a href="http://missglamoroussweatpants.blogspot.ie/2015/11/unboxing-my-first-glossybox.html" target="_blank">here</a>). I wasn't too excited for it in the beginning as I never really use foundation (I find it too heavy, cakey and uncomfortable to wear) and applying it under a BB cream seemed pointless as my own one already does contain a primer. But with the frosty days creeping in, I found myself reaching for extra coverage more than often. Let me just say, along with the primer, I am freaking lovin' the make-up routine and final effects. This primer has got me seriously addicted. True, it takes longer to get ready and the full sized product isn't exactly the cheapest thing ever, but the all day lasting, smooth effect of beautiful skin is worth it. I'm not sure if it's a good thing that now I wear foundation on almost everyday basis, but as long as at the end of the day my face still looks and feels glamorous, it suits me.<br />
<br />
<span style="color: #3d85c6; font-size: large;">4)Blistex Happy Lips Strawberry Lip Balm </span><br />
How much would you expect from a 1 euro, bought on spur of moment, available in Tesco, lip balm? Yeah, I wouldn't expect miracles either. Lip balms and my lips? These two never go along. Either too greasy, too shiny, no long term effect or dryer than they were. Complete nightmare! This stuff though? How come did I not come across it earlier?! It applies without a greasy, sticky effect, leaves the lips relatively matte but super moisturized, tastes and smells delicious and costs nothing. Big round of applause everyone.<br />
<br />
<span style="color: #3d85c6; font-size: large;">5)Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick 415 Pink In The Afternoon</span><br />
I am still on the road of convincing myself to lipsticks and definitely prefer more natural shades to vibrant cherries and purples, as of now. Receiving a beautiful, subtle rouge in the November Glossy Box was an apposite guess. I immediately knew it'll be my favourite product of all five. Its colour is so close to my own lips it's a perfect way to start off with getting used to lipsticks. But what I love the most is that it doesn't dry out an inch of the skin. It suits any make-up and any occasion and I absolutely fell for it, big time.<br />
<br />
<br />
Have you tried any of these before? Did you like them as much as I do? <br />
<br />
That's all for now, I'm off to do some workout. Have a great Sunday :)<br />

<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<div style="text-align: center;">
Hello peeps,</div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Up until one morning, I didn't really have much understanding of the Liebster Award. Sure I've heard about it and on numerous occasions saw comments on other blogs that have been nominated but I've never thought I would find such a comment on one of my own posts. I mean, I was convinced it's just me, my keyboard and the screen and the realization that someone actually takes the time to pop their head over and acknowledge the work you put into your passion is the best pre Christmas gift ever!<br />
<br />
Not to mention the fact I've been nominated not by one but four lovely girls!<br />
<a name='more'></a> Is this even allowed? I don't know the rules to follow when nominated by more than one person, but since google can't help me with this one I'm gonna combine all of their questions :) And if I can't do that, I'm sorry, I really don't know what I'm doing xD</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
With this being said, I would, with all my heart, love to thank the gorgeous Wei from <a href="http://monentree.blogspot.sg/" target="_blank">Mon Entrée</a>, <a href="http://weronikadabek.blogspot.ie/" target="_blank">Weronika</a>, <a href="http://aikoeliot.blogspot.co.uk/" target="_blank">Aiko</a> and Luyanda from <a href="http://loveluyanda.blogspot.co.uk/" target="_blank">Love Luyanda </a>who were sweet enough to nominate me for the award.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
For the uninitiated, The Liebster Award is one that is presented to bloggers by bloggers, with 200 or less followers, in order to encourage each other to write and discover new and upcoming blogs. This time round, it's a Christmas edit, yay!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<u>Few rules to follow once nominated:</u></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
</div>
<ul>
<li style="text-align: justify;">Create a blog post on the award and link back to the blogger who nominated you.</li>
<li style="text-align: justify;">Include the Liebster Award sticker and set of rules.</li>
<li style="text-align: justify;">Answer 10 questions from the person who nominated you and come up with your own 10 for your nominees.</li>
<li><span style="text-align: justify;">Choose bloggers with <200 followers to nominate and let them know they've been nominated by commenting on their blog. </span></li>
</ul>
Oh, and obviously remember to have fun :)<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>Questions from the girls:</b></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>-1: Favourite makeup item?</b></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Mascara. I believe it does wonders in making one look more awake and alive and I could literally survive without all other makeup as long as I'd have at least one lash beautifier :)</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>-2: Cooking or washing the dishes?</b></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Cooking definitely! I enjoy making yummy stuff in the kitchen. Tiding up bits of left over food? Not so much.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>-3. Take naps or sleep in?</b></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Sleep in. I never liked napping during the day, it felt like a waste of time. Those extra minutes of lie in on a chilly Saturday morning are my favourite.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>-4. Have you bought any Christmas presents already? If yes, who have you bought for?</b></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Yes, I have my mom, sister, step dad and best friend sorted and myself and my brother decided not to give each other gifts this year as simply; we're both broke :P So it's fair to say, my Christmas shopping is done and dusted :) (I actually wrote a blog post about my Christmas haul which you can check out <a href="http://missglamoroussweatpants.blogspot.ie/2015/11/christmas-shopping-gone-wild.html" target="_blank">here</a> if you're interested)</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>-5. Best compliment received?</b></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
I'm really grateful to both of my English teachers for complimenting on my creative writing skills and saying that my works were amazing and that they can see the potential in me of becoming a writer. This has basically encouraged me to gain interest in that direction and I do assume, that without their kind words, you wouldn't be reading this today :) </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>-6. Favourite holiday?</b></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Christmas. The one that always stuck in my head was from the winter when I was 6 or 7 and I went skiing for the first time along with my dad, his bunch of friends and my cousins, down to the Polish mountains and literally had the snowiest, most magical winter of a lifetime<3</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b><br /></b></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>-7. What's on your Christmas Wishlist?</b></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
The best gift someone could give me would be a trip away to the <i>Wizarding World of Harry Potter,</i> Orlando, Florida or just a weekend in London but thinking more materialistically (and probably more realistically as well) I would love to get:</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
*A new cabin sized suitcase</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
*Jogging shoes and cute workout wear</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
*<i>Angel </i>Perfume by Thierry Mugler</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
*Supply of earphones for an entire year (I break 4 on average during the 365 days!)</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
*Books: <i>Girl Online on Tour</i> by Zoe Sugg, <i>Unforgiven</i> by Lauren Kate and <i>Princess</i> by Jean Sasson</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>-8. Who is the hardest person to buy presents for?</b></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
My step dad. I think men in general are a problem for me. I always think they have everything they need and they seem to think so too. They never really want anything and certainly won't tell you if they do. Even this year, my step dad ordered his own present online, I just paid and wrapped it- this is what you call life struggles in 1st world countries xD</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>-9. Wrapping papers or paper bags?</b></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Bags. They're not as exciting to open and tend to cost more, but I'm absolutely crap with wrapping presents unless they are a perfect, cube shape. If I could choose anything, I would say gifts packed inside of boxes and then wrapped in wrapping paper- I think these are the cutest.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>-10. Favourite gift received?</b></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
I remember being really excited for my own, first pair of skis, when I was like 9. As I grew out of them quite fast they didn't get used a lot but it made me feel so special just to have a pair of my own. They were green with black detail and I believe I got them from my grandparents. I remember the time when we returned back to their flat after a Christmas dinner down at my aunts, thinking I've opened up all the gifts already and then suddenly receiving another one just before going to bed. It was the warmest feeling ever as the following week we went skiing again and I could enjoy using them for the entire get away :)<br />
<br />
Another one that I have to mention is a singing pig. This may sound ridiculous but I swear it was my most beloved toy when I was younger. From my other grandparents, I got this teddy like pig who sang ''My Girl'' by The Temptations. I'm not too sure but I think I might have gotten it for my 7th birthday. I carried it EVERYWHERE! Even hid it in my bag when going to school and bragged to my friends that now I have a ''baby pig'' I need to care for (this was actually before <i>Charlotte's Web </i>was released, in case you were wondering). When we moved to Ireland it got lost in the action and I was so depressed, my mom purchased another one. Soon after that I got bored with it but I actually still have it! The sound is cranky and bit husky but my 2 year old sister used to have a period when she was obsessed with it as much as I once was :D<br />
<br />
<b>-11. Favourite Book?</b><br />
Ultimately the Harry Potter series. Always.<br />
<b><br /></b>
<b>-12. What do you love about winter?</b><br />
Snow and layering up. I really don't mind the chill and looking like a puffy snowman :)<br />
<b><br /></b>
<b>-13. Winter wardrobe must have?</b><br />
Woolliest scarf .<br />
<br />
<b>-14. Jumpers or Hoodies?</b><br />
Ooo that's a tough one! But I'd say jumpers for going out and hoodies for staying in.<br />
<br />
<b>-15. What do you think about christmas jumpers?</b><br />
I freaking love them! They just make the festivity even more festive, plus they're cosy, warm and cute!<br />
<br />
<b>-16. Go to winter beauty product?</b><br />
A primer.<br />
<br />
<b>-17. Favourite winter beverage?</b><br />
Hot Chocolate ^_^<br />
<br />
<b>-18. Favourite pair of shoes?</b><br />
Any type of winter booties.<br />
<br />
<b>-19. New Year's or Christmas?</b><br />
Christmas. Nothing really ever happens on the new year and Christmas is just such a warm, family holiday.<br />
<b><br /></b>
<b>-20. Go-to hairstyle?</b><br />
High up pony.<br />
<br />
<br />
There we go, these were fun to answer :D Now, my nominees are....<br />

<br />
<b>1.</b> Favourite ice-cream flavor?<br />
<b>2.</b> Bonfire or firework nights?<br />
<b>3.</b> What is your favourite Christmas song?<br />
<b>4.</b> What's your winter wardrobe staple?<br />
<b>5.</b> Who's your current celeb crush?<br />
<b>6.</b> What was always your dream job? (fake or real)<br />
<b>7.</b> Snow ball fights or building snowmen?<br />

<b>10</b>. What's your best childhood, Christmas memory?<br />
<br />
I'm so curious of what your answers will be :D Well done and thank you Wei, Weronika, Aiko and Luyanda once again <3<br />

<div style="text-align: center;">
Hello peeps,</div>
As you are probably all aware, the black Friday shopping madness took majority of people go crazy, not just two days ago. I myself, was lucky enough to get the day off school and head down town for few unnecessary bits that I can promise, will come necessary eventually *fingers crossed*.<br />
<br />
No worries, I did actually have a list of stuff to get before December and with an honest heart, I swear by my fairy lights I stuck to it! (more less) Anyhow, here's my little spree put together in a lovely, short post. Enjoy :)<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: x-small; text-align: left;">My mom's birthday is coming up and since these advent calendars are becoming massively popular at the moment, I thought it would be nice to give her this Yankee Candle one. I actually bought it online, and I'm pretty sure the price was reduced so if your interested you better get your hands on it </span><span style="font-size: x-small; text-align: left;">quick</span><span style="font-size: x-small; text-align: left;">.</span></div>

<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: x-small;">This gorgeous cross body bag is yet another gift, this time a Christmas one for my best friend. Thankfully she doesn't read my blog so it's still going to be a surprise :D And I got it for half price!!!</span></div>
<span style="font-size: x-small;"><br /></span>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<img border="0" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgT8DdBL0bf_0d8D1-r7pWYf9APBO5BsKD2ch7km-7P6tpRuN0Ri2Ezb1mXx75dw66NcY0pBlxzcp-VKrBhoPL1WqsHhl0HDeqUB95-hkgILzEDrTRibIrikqWFutcS8Z1tGdmXhzF4zsw/s640/IMG_0940.jpg" width="640" /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: x-small;">I'm planning some serious Christmas themed muffin baking both for myself and as part of a gift. This time of the year, it's all about the decorations. I got all of these cuties at a local baking-dedicated shop but I guess you can purchase them anywhere really.</span></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<img border="0" height="484" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi1m9WwVucIXjgxmnSbPSq0Vp8T-mPxJsQqwMddsnETZoPTujb0T2LhCYv_1H4agC-1HDA-E1gyzvdP1gX7VC-DH3x0FCdgvXHzQaSq8m-W_5hyphenhyphenwkPq99tnm-7NUxDoHlFvnxjk2hbKzqY/s640/IMG_0952.jpg" width="640" /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: x-small;">These socks will look super fun underneath my boots and spice up the boring uniform a bit. The gift bag is self explanatory I suppose :D</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: x-small;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<img border="0" height="494" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEilKVquSvFrgkYCr1xgGnUWb0eCKCAWjjPXjzJ_M2R7WGww0GpjHO8BjPhhFkLLXY8ro6_qUvc2QxW-pkp0wL6QiHWC6cV2NNpxN-RBMWlHj_aK19dqtUMECIQiH5vbk0Uk_x6uGhXXbQ4/s640/IMG_0941.jpg" width="640" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: x-small;">In case you're wondering, this the the muffin gift box, obviously not folded out yet. It was the main purpose of my spree and I'm glad to have stumbled upon this subtle, gold star one.</span></div>
<span style="font-size: x-small;"><br /></span>
All I can say now, is that it's absolutely unbelievable how thrilled I am to finally sort out all bits needed for the massive baking that's coming up and purchasing last gifts. That's me done for the month :D<br />
<br />
What are your big plans for Christmas this year? Also, please let me know of your gift ideas, they are honestly the only topic I ramble about at the moment.<br />
<br />
Have a nice week!<br />
<br />
Love,<br />

<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgi5bxScx8uMGxbfAOeZsQAGrKWtYg5od7ooQX-tRi-n0Hhw-TbUPeDJT4dogk0Sx9o4RFIxqGtl9N5bosWlwL7uswSlG2ost_Z3mGXuZHVgJSFFRDugsUi65LczuMpNXVgjNhLl5j4imc/s1600/Hunger-Games.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgi5bxScx8uMGxbfAOeZsQAGrKWtYg5od7ooQX-tRi-n0Hhw-TbUPeDJT4dogk0Sx9o4RFIxqGtl9N5bosWlwL7uswSlG2ost_Z3mGXuZHVgJSFFRDugsUi65LczuMpNXVgjNhLl5j4imc/s640/Hunger-Games.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
Back in 2012, myself and a friend were giving it a blind date of sort, with only a catchy title and urge to go and see a movie, we didn't quite know what the <i>Hunger Games</i> were and what there was to expect. Now I compare the first part with a bath inside an ice filled tank. Having never seen such a movie before I was left utterly speechless. Throughout the entire two hour period, myself and my friend did something that was quite impossible for us; we spoke not a single word. Leaving the theater I knew that couldn't have been it. I longed for more and couldn't get over the fact how it ended. It all began there.<br />
<br />
I googled it, purchased the book series, read it in a week just to re-read again, I quoted the script, brushed my hair into the so popular, characteristic braid, stayed a loyal fan, spread the plague, discovered which district I would belong to, questioned if I'd survive the games, who my allies would be and obviously carried on the endless topic of discussion; Team Gale or Peeta? (It was always Peeta by the way).<br />
<br />
It wasn't a shock that once final franchise comes out I would be the first in line to get the tickets, squeak and bounce up and down with endless excitement. And there it happened, weekend came around and all I could think about on Saturday evening was when I would finally be able to wriggle in an uncomfortable cinema chair just to see how it ends. I knew they wouldn't shock me. I read the books, I saw hundreds of sneak-peaks and listened to my friends remind of everyone who dies at the end. I knew certain details better than my own wardrobe but the general idea was blurry in my mind, thankfully.<br />
<br />
I liked how it began. Katniss's speech gave me shivers, Haymitch caused me to laugh throughout and the pathetic kiss between Gale and the Mockingjay forced me to scream at the screen in the loudest whisper possible. Filled with action, tension and crazy make up, it was exactly what I expected. Giving praise not only to the special effects team and Francis Lawrence for delivering quite a spectacle, I sincerely admire Jennifer's marvelous acting skills. She wasn't how I pictured Katniss, but because she knew how to put on that show and make me fall in love with it, I can forgive the casting directors.<br />
<br />
So what went wrong? Surprised that something even might have? Well, I was.<br />
<br />
Only when it got to the very end, I understood, how extremely dragged it was. They didn't split a 450 page book into two in order to get in as much detail and excitement as possible. They made a half and half just because they would gain more, which seems quite obvious in today's world. But the final effect really suffered because of this. They stuck to the book as a full on christian to a bible. There was too much of unnecessary detail and even though all the tension built up to the end in some way or another, it was brutally destroyed when the main character lost her consciousness; at the same time we lost the ending. One minute we see a blood bath thinking this is it, the next everything is done and dusted, a perfect order we wanted to see. Too bad we didn't see how they managed to restore it.<br />
<br />
Not to go on and mention how they put together the final scene. If you read the book you were probably most grateful for being able to see a flash forward after the rebellion. If you saw the movie, then you probably went out wishing to receive an axe and the directors head on your front porch. The ending of any movie makes what you remember of it. The ending of <i>Mockingjay</i> part 2 makes me remember it as a sweetened, pulled out from the 50's, sickening love affair with fake scenery, cheap costumes and rotten screenplay. Thanks to this, I now consider it a complete disaster, a bit worthless of my time and I won't hide, this really does upset me.<br />
<br />
It could have given me butterflies in the stomach, it could have made me scream and shout and praise and admire and freak out about it, it could have given me insomnia. It didn't.<br />
<br />
Splitting the book, was the first mistake they made. Sticking to almost every word in the book, was the second. And that cheesy, not explaining anything, ending was the grand finale.<br />
<br />
The series was a true passion of mine. I loved it all the way through. I stood up for it when other's mocked certain bits. Now, when it has all ended, I don't regret a single moment dedicated to it. It was worth spending the 7 euro on, but in the end I'm going to continue hating them for ruining a legend.<br />

Hello peeps,</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I was feeling extremely productive this Sunday and also craving my ultimate favourite food ever; PANCAKES!! ^_^... so I decided to make some.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
But since I'm trying my best to be healthy, it was obvious the go-to buttery+sugary batter won't pass. Instead, I pulled out few ''better option'' ingredients from my fridge and cupboard and voila. It came out yummy and definitely healthier than your typical pancakes so I thought I'd share the simple recipe :)</div>
